ILEA’s Mission, Vision, and Goals

· Mission

To enhance human wellbeing and promote social happiness and a sustainable future through the deep integration of educational innovation and the internationalisation of wellbeing education.

· Vision

To build a future-oriented, cross-culturally recognised international learning and certification ecosystem in which healthy lifestyles become a core competency and a foundational literacy for global citizens.

· Goals

To establish international curricula and certification standards for wellbeing education; to collaborate with global universities, experts, and industries in talent development and research; to advance the digital dissemination of healthy lifestyle education; and to build a globally influential brand and collaborative network for wellbeing education.

Landmark Achievements and Development Milestones

1. Global Summit: Building a Platform for International Dialogue

In September 2025, ILEA successfully hosted the Global Green Development and Healthy Lifestyle Summit in Singapore, bringing together experts and scholars from over 30 countries. The summit featured interdisciplinary discussions on nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and emotional management and cognition.

Distinguished opening speech by Mr. Heng Swee Keat, former Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, current Chairman of National Research Foundation, during the welcome dinner; address by Mr. Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health of Singapore; Professor Yang Yuexin, President of the Chinese Nutrition Society; and Professor Joseph Sung, dean of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Nanyang Technological University. The summit contributed to significant international consensus on wellbeing education, policy and practice.

2. Public Advocacy: Healthy Lifestyle Ambassador Programme

During the summit, ILEA appointed renowned Singaporean artist Fann Wong as the Healthy Lifestyle Ambassador, promoting evidence-based health concepts to the wider public and establishing a model for the social integration of wellbeing education.

3. Launch of the HLCC International Teaching and Certification System

At the forum, ILEA officially launched the HLCC Healthy Lifestyle Coach Curriculum and Certification System. Powered by AI and supporting learning in six languages, the system provides a scalable, mutually recognisable, and cross-culturally adaptable competency framework for global wellbeing education, setting a new benchmark in the international standardisation of wellbeing education.

4. Establishment of the IIOE Singapore Training Centre with UNESCO-ICHEI

On 23 October 2025, ILEA, in partnership with the UNESCO International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (UNESCO-ICHEI), officially established the International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) Singapore Training Centre.

The centre serves as a strategic hub for the integration of global online education and wellbeing education, representing a major step forward in ILEA’s efforts to advance education digitalisation and the internationalisation of wellbeing education, and positioning Singapore as a key regional and global node for talent development and educational innovation.

Future Strategic Directions

1. Establishing and Strengthening an International Expert Committee

Bringing together experts from government, academia, industry, and international organisations to jointly develop HLCC international curricula and certification standards, forming a globally recognised healthy lifestyle coach competency framework.

2. Advancing the Global HLCC Education Ecosystem

Implementing localised curricula, training centres, and certification systems across multiple countries to promote the accessibility, digitalisation, and international mutual recognition of wellbeing education.

3. Developing Demonstration Projects for “Education × Wellbeing × Sustainable Development”

Through global summits, international research initiatives, digital platforms, and training centre development, ILEA aims to create scalable and replicable models of global wellbeing education that offer practical reference pathways for governments and institutions worldwide.

A Global Collaborative Network for Wellbeing Education

ILEA is not a traditional education institution, but a future-oriented global collaborative network for wellbeing education. Anchored in Singapore, the Alliance integrates resources across education, technology, and wellbeing. Leveraging the influence of international forums, the HLCC international standards system, AI-powered digital learning platforms, and strategic collaboration with UNESCO-ICHEI, ILEA is advancing wellbeing education toward a new stage of professionalisation, standardisation, and internationalisation.

The ultimate goal of ILEA is clear and unwavering:

To ensure that education truly serves human wellbeing, societal happiness, and a sustainable future.
